the times they are a changin'

There's a lot of change happening around our parts.  And since you'll be seeing a lot more of me here on the blog, I thought you might be interested why.

Zach and I have made the decision to move to Orange County for the next several months to be closer to family.  I've put in notice at the job where I've been for the past 5 years, at the apartment we've been for 2 years and we're ultimately leaving San Diego - where we met and fell in love. We're setting out on an exciting adventure (new city, new friends, new food, new life!). Where we'll finally have time to reflect, opportunity to grow and plan for whatever is next.  More time for this dear old blog and more time to pursue our passions.

Obviously this decision was made because the positive outweighs the negative, but it's still a huge transition.  We're leaving our first little house together, the place we came home to after we got engaged and called our family and friends for hours, the door we'd anxiously come home to filled with registry gifts and the home we came back to as husband and wife.

So while this next chapter will be an exciting adventure, it's been real San Diego.  I can't wait to come back to you and see what you have in store for us during our next tour - but for now we're movin' on!

So, while I sit here and reminisce on the last 9 years in San Diego, get ready for a lot more of me in the coming months.  I can't wait to share all the details of our wedding, our honeymoon, our first year of marriage and this little adventure we're setting out on!
