december in review

December flew by! The holidays snuck up on us this year - but it was almost more fun that way. No stressing about gifts or plans, we didn't have time to. December was a busy month for us - it was our first month out of limbo. Remember this post? We were being brave, we were taking advantage of our youth and testing new waters. Well, then this happened and changed our lives forever. Since then, we've been in limbo. Where to live? Where to work? What do we want out of this life we're living? Plain and simple - what's important? Our answer? Time. We want more time. Together and with the ones we love. Today and in the future. So we've been reprioritizing our lives to align with our goal of time. That meant new careers (for both of us!). Zach has decided to become a Firefighter! And I've started a new job doing Brand Development for a local jewelry company. A lot came together this month and we can finally say we're on the other side of what seemed like endless hard decisions. So thats what's been going on behind the scenes, all whilst snuggling a lot with Luca, weekend road trips, weekday business trips, holiday decorating, a white Christmas in Vail and a fun New Years Eve spent with friends. I'm excited to see what 2014 has in store for us! Follow along on Instagram @brittanythomasreynolds!

  2. I am happy that you all found what makes you happy. SO many people seem to think the only thing that matters is more money or more stuff. This is why I like your blog you seem so real and down to earth. I wish more bloggers were that way these days.

  3. Thank you so much for the sweet comment Noor! It's so easy to get caught up in the madness that is our world. All we can do is try to focus on what matters :)

  4. There is something so special about honey, especially when you know where the bees buzzed and the significance of the hands that harvested it. There isn't anything sweeter! :)
